Based on a portrait. Yak wig styled and accessorized, defined eyebrows and masked a spot by concealing it and colouring black. Very pale base, white grease paint used to create a very pale colour with translucent powder.

Based loosely on Edith Piaf. Wig curled with hotsticks and then backcombed for volume. Red, full lips and dark eyeshadow with socketing,

Eye shadow used to create flick to make the eyes pop and add femininity. Highlighting, brows defined. Deep red lips for an over-all glamorous look.

3/4 wig with other wefts and swatches fed into wig to create goddess like hair, coloured ribbon and a top bun made of plaits forms the characteristics associated with Kwan Yin.

Bomb blast victim
Gelatin piece used to denote shrapnel cuts and filled with runny blood to show that the wound is fresh. Lips powdered over white greasepaint to give effect of dryness and cracking. Glycerin used for sweat and tears and dusted with dark powder to reflect the explosion and the dirt and smoke ingrained in the skin.

A&B used with puss to create a textured burned flesh with a gelatin piece below one eye.

Coloured gelatine made from my own mould. Shaded to give depth and filled with blood and puss.

Coloured gelatin from my own mould, shaded do give depth, blended edges with witch hazel. Thick thread used to create stitched effect, inside of wound shaded to give effect of dry, crisp skin.

Bald cap, old age and gender change.
Created a bald cap, coloured and blended to match subjects skin colour. Used a wig and moustache along with shading of nose and jaw to attempt to change gender and shaded around the eyes and mouth, typically where lines form to create the aging.
